Winky Wright had fought once in five years, losing in April of 2009 against the ill-fated Paul Williams, before he stepped in the ring against Peter Quillin. Not surprisingly, the younger, fresher fighter was able to dominate the future Hall of Famer, even downing Winky once in the 5th round, en route to a comprehensive unanimous decision. The day after the fight, Winky officially announced his retirement.
