Undefeated Zab Judah faces the toughest test of his early career against veteran Micky Ward. After Judah drops Ward to his knee with a low blow in the opening round, they shout at one another. Judah stuns Ward with a left hand in the second round and proceeds to school his opponent, drawing blood from Ward's nose by the fith round. A desperate Ward turns southpaw and hurts Judah with a left hand to the body in the eighth, forcing Judah to retreat for the remainder of the round. Ward repays Judah for the low blow in the ninth, dropping him to a knee, but Judah comes back to freeze Ward with a left hand at the bell to end round ten. Judah tears into Ward in the championship rounds to cap off a terrific performance, winning by a landslide.
