One of the most shocking endings of any fight occurs in the eighth when Duran turns his back on Leonard and refuses to continue, telling the ref, "No mas." Later, he would blame indigestion from eating too much steak prior to the fight, although writers at the time speculated it had far more to do with Leonard's boxing style, which was completely different than the brawling that took place in the first epic fight.
