Disappointing fight after HBO invested a lot of money and energy into building it up as a clash between two young, undefeated American champions and given the prime Saturday slot the week before the Super Bowl. Having the fight in an abandoned, obsolete stadium in the middle of nowhere in the dead of winter just added to the embarrassment. Bradley wins a desultory technical decision when Alexander cannot continue after a headbutt to the eye.
