Marvin Hagler vs. Mustafa Hamsho II

Three years after their first meeting, Marvin Hagler and Mustafa Hamsho square off once more for the Middleweight Championship. Hamsho opens up a cut over his own left eye when throwing his head between Hagler's gloves in an opening round that the challenger wins. Hagler comes back to light Hamsho up with big shots in the second round before flooring him for the first time in his career with a pair of left hands and a right hook in the third. Hamsho beats the count and bravely slugs it out with the champion until a Hagler right hook puts him down again. As Referee Arthur Mercante is counting him out, Hamsho's corner comes into the ring to stop the fight.
