Kassim Ouma and Juan Carlos Candelo go to war on the undercard of a bout between Acelino Freitas and Artur Grigorian. Candelo lands some hard shots in the opening round before the resilient Ouma starts tagging him clean and takes over by the midpoint of the fight. A straight left hand and right hook hurt Candelo at the end of the ninth before Ouma sends him toppling to the canvas with another left hand. Although Candelo beats the count and survives the round, Ouma pours it on to begin the tenth, leaving Candelo slumped in the corner and forcing Referee Mike Ortega to stop the fight.
