Muhammad Ali returns to Canada to face George Chuvalo six years after their first meeting. Chuvalo rattles Ali several times over the first half of the bout, even stopping to taunt the former World Champion during exchanges, but Ali answers with punishing combinations over the second half of the contest. Despite Ali vowing to drop Chuvalo for the first time in his career, the result is the same as the first encounter, with Ali failing to take Chuvalo off his feet but taking a wide unanimous decision win under the 5-point-must system.
