Two years after Muhammad Ali stopped him on cuts, Jerry Quarry gets another shot at the former Heavyweight Champion. Once again, Ali dominates but doesn't need a cut to stop Quarry the second time around. After trading taunts through the second round, Ali takes over and hammers Quarry into submission. At Ali's suggestion to spare Quarry a further beating, Referee Mike Kaplan calls a halt to the one-sided drubbing just seconds into round seven. After the bout, Ali gets into a shouting match with fellow contender George Foreman at ringside.
