IBF Welterweight Championship
Former friends turned enemies square off when undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. challenges IBF Welterweight Champion Zab Judah in a duel of boxing's fastest fighters. Judah's speed gives Mayweather trouble early as he is able to score with left hands through the guard. Judah even scores an unofficial knockdown missed by Referee Richard Steele when a right hook causes Mayweather's glove to touch the canvas. Mayweather adapts and begins punishing and bloodying Judah over the middle rounds of the fight. With the fight slipping away, Judah hits Mayweather low and then on the back of the head in the tenth round, inciting a brawl between the corners when Roger Mayweather enters the ring to confront him. When order is restored, Mayweather coasts to the unanimous decision, stopping to taunt Judah on the way to victory.
