Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali looks to regain the WBA title stripped from him for giving Sonny Liston a rematch when he takes on Ernie Terrell. Terrell goads the champion by refusing to call him Ali and instead referring to him as Cassius Clay. Ali responds by talking to Terrell during Referee Harry Kessler's instructions and hurting him badly in the seventh round; however, rather than finish the challenger off, Ali does some taunting of his own in the eighth round, asking the challenger, "What's my name?" between punches. Bleeding from cuts around both eyes, Terrell loses a wide unanimous decision, but the testy champion continues to trash talk him after the fight and gets into another war of words with former opponent George Chuvalo.
