For All The Gold: Donny Lalonde vs. Sugar Ray Leonard

After edging "Marvelous" Marvin Hagler by controversial decision, Middleweight Champion "Sugar" Ray Leonard challenges WBC Light Heavyweight Champion Donny Lalonde at 168 pounds in a rare bout in which two division titles are on the line, including the newly created WBC Super Middleweight Championship. Lalonde appears to be too big for Leonard and knocks him down in the fourth round. Leonard recovers but finds himself in serious trouble once again in the ninth before storming back to finally drop Lalonde with a left hook. Lalonde beats the count, but Leonard goes on the attack and pounds him to the canvas once more, prompting Referee Richard Steele to stop the assault and crown Leonard two more titles.
