Wladimir Klitschko batters IBF Heavyweight Champion Chris Byrd for the second time in five years to win a title belt. Despite going twelve with Klitschko in 2000, Byrd is dropped flat on his back in the fifth round the second time around. After another combination sends him crashing to the canvas early in the seventh round, Byrd gets up with the left side of his face covered in blood. Referee Wayne Kelly quickly waves the contest over, giving Klitschko his second heavyweight title.
