After winning a heavyweight belt from John Ruiz, becoming the first man since Bob Fitzsimmons to win laurels at both middleweight and heavyweight, Roy Jones Jr. drops back down to 175 pounds in an attempt to reclaim the title he vacated from WBC Light Heavyweight Champion Antonio Tarver. Having waited more than a year for his shot, Tarver takes the fight to Jones and shakes him up with some big left hands in the early going and even trades taunts with him. In real danger of losing the fight, Jones rallies to win the championship rounds and notch a competitive majority decision win.
