Two years after suffering his only defeat to Eric Harding, Antonio Tarver gets a rematch on the undercard of the rematch between Vernon Forrest and Shane Mosley. After losing the first three rounds, Tarver catches Harding with some left hand bombs in the fourth, battering him to the canvas. Harding survives with the help of the bell but goes down again early in the fifth. While Tarver shouts at him to stop the fight, Referee Bill Paige asks Harding if he can continue, to which Harding replies, "I'm from Philadelphia." Tarver then hammers Harding to the mat one more time before the fight is mercifully ended.

The Rematch: Eric Harding vs. Antonio Tarver II

Roy Jones Jr. defends his Light Heavyweight Championship against mandatory contender Eric Harding in New Orleans. Harding presents Jones with something of a puzzle in the early rounds, winning several off of the champion, before injuring his shoulder. Jones takes over down the stretch of the bout until Harding's corner throws in the towel after the tenth round.

Bourbon Street Brawl: Roy Jones Jr. vs. Eric Harding

Unbeaten light heavyweights Antonio Tarver and Eric Harding square off for the right to challenge Roy Jones Jr. After a back-and-forth eight rounds, Harding breaks Tarver's jaw and eventually batters him to the canvas in round eleven to seal the deal on the scorecards, taking home a unanimous decision.
