Continuing on the comeback trail for a shot at the Heavyweight Championship, Mike Tyson scores a 30-second knockout over Lou Savarese. Tyson floors Savarese with a left hook just seconds into the bout. Savarese beats the count, but Tyson pummels him into a corner in an instant. Referee John Coyle tries to jump in and stop the fight, but Tyson continues to throw punches, knocking Coyle to the canvas. When Coyle gets back to his feet, he pries the fighters apart and awards Tyson a technical knockout, although Savarese is on his feet and upset.
