Vasyl Lomachenko knocks out Jorge Linares to win WBA 135lb title, become a three-weight world champion. Lomachenko did not have everything his own way (as he had in his last 5 consecutive fights), Linares dropped Lomachenko in round 6 with a counter right hand, and competed with the Ukranian favourite in the following rounds, having been seemingly outclassed until he scored the knockdown. Despite being challenged, even dropped, Lomachenko dug deep, outfought Linares, and found a few great finishing punches, in particular, a stand out, lethal liver shot, to finish the fight.
