Undefeated WBO Super Middleweight Champion Joe Calzaghe fights outside of Great Britain for the first time and shares a billing with Mike Tyson for the second time when he travels to Denmark to face Willie McIntyre of the United States. Calzaghe hurts McIntyre in the opening round and sends him staggering into the ropes with a brutal uppercut in the third. Referee Rudy Battle issues a count but allows McIntyre to continue even though he is out on his feet. Calzaghe forces Battle's hand early in the fourth when he drops McIntyre onto his hands and knees with a right hook.
