Nonito Donaire unifies the WBO and IBF bantamweight titles by beating the tall, tough South African Jeffrey Mathebula in a fairly interesting encounter. Donaire came close to a fourth round stoppage, but after flooring Mathebula hard with a left hook that left him on shaky legs, the bell rang to end the round and Nonito was left chasing after a far more cautious Mathebula for the rest of the fight.
