The WBA reinstated Javier Castillejo as WBA middleweight champion after Mariano Carrera’s "B" urine sample tested positive for the banned substance "Clembuterol." The analysis was performed by the Institute of Biochemistry in Cologne, Germany. Carrera has been suspended for a six-month period starting December 2nd, 2006, the date he took the title from Castillejo by eleventh round TKO. Result remains a No Contest.
