"Sandy Saddler strutted into his seventh year as world featherweight champion today while irate fans jeered in vain. Saddler from New York City defended his crown Wednesday night by scoring a TKO over Flash Elorde of the Philippines when the contest was halted in the 13th round because of the Islander's bleeding left eye.
