Fighting on the undercard of the bout between Roy Jones Jr. and Julio Gonzalez, Erik Morales steals the show by going to war with the hard-nosed In-Jin Chi. In a battle between an irresistible force and an immovable object, Morales fights through a swollen shut eye caused by a clash of heads to win a unanimous decision. Chi gives a good account of himself, despite losing a point for holding and hitting in round ten.
