Undefeated WBO Super Middleweight Champion Joe Calzaghe faces once-beaten Commonwealth Champion and compariot David Starie in a truly dreadful fight on the undercard of a bout between Mike Tyson and Julius Francis. Starie actually lands the biggest punches of the fight but packs them into a few rounds in the middle of the bout while Calzaghe out works him in the majority of the rounds. After twelve dull rounds, Calzaghe gets the win by unanimous decision.
