In a terrific fight to cap off their exciting trilogy, Clinton Woods defends his IBF Light Heavyweight Championship against Glen Johnson in search of that elusive win. Johnson starts strong, dominating the opening round and landing some big right hands in the fourth and fifth rounds. He hurts Woods with a hard right hand in the ninth and hammers away at him for much of the round. Coming on strong in the championship rounds, Woods finishes the fight more impressively but appears fortunate to eke out a split decision to retain his title.
