In a brief head hunting slugfest, the last of the three fighting Quarry brothers, Bobby Quarry, actually gave a good accounting of himself in this brief bout, the last significant bout against an opponent of significance fought by the fighting Quarrys (1965-1992 historical period). Bobby's last bout was in August 1992. Jerry's last bout was in October 1992. Mike's last bout was in August 1982. Bobby, who won only one of his last nine professional bouts (according to BoxRec), took the bout with Tommy Morrison hoping to get lucky and score a big upset, knowing Morrison had been knocked out by Ray Mercer in his previous bout. Bobby slugged it out with Morrison in the first round, trading head shot bombs offensively. In the second, Morrison landed a light left jab to the face, followed by a straight right hand power shot to Bobby's right ear with Bobby standing in front of him, and knocked Bobby out cold on his back.
