Basilio forced the fight on the inside, outworking and outlanding Aragon. Aragon fought back in spots, but wore down as the fight went on. Aragon was almost dropped in round 6 as a hook sent him reeling into the corner. Midway through round 8, Aragon's corner threw in the towel to save their fighter from further punishment.
