Attack & Conquer: Amir Khan vs. Zab Judah
Las Vegas, NV
140 lbs
Vic Drakulich
WBA/IBF 140
Timothy Bradley refused to step up to the plate for whatever reason, so Khan's July HBO date fell to IBF 140 lb. titlist Judah. With both men having good power and questionable chins, this was a fight where any result seemed possible, but Khan, who entered the contest as a more than four-to-one favorite, proved he belongs among the very best fighters in the world with his impressive one-sided performance. He dominated the in-shape--both physically and psychologically--Judah from opening bell to the final contentious blow, and left the ring with both his own WBA 140 lb. belt and Zab's IBF version as well. The man with the other two major belts at 140? Timothy Bradley, of course.
