Freitas ruptures the eardrum of Barrios midway through the fight, but Barrios comes back to put Freitas down with a jab in the eighth round. Nearly seizing the upset, Barrios again drops Freitas with a one-two in round eleven, but Freitas answers by flooring Barrios with a thunderous right hand at the bell to end the round.
